I started Spases to share home furnishings from our beautiful continent and everything that we create or sell in the store is ALWAYS a personal favourite. I find that when I’m satisfying a personal need, chances are that there are many others out there with similar needs, you know?

However, as much as we are a brand that sells home accessories, I’m not much of a accessory person. I’m more of a minimal, basics kinda girl, and that is apparent from my fashion choices to home decor. So when I say these are my current favourites, they’ve been in rotation for a good while 🙂 In no particular order, here’s my top 3 can’t do without items in my home:

1. My oil burner. I’m such a sucker for fragrance and mood setting, it really lifts my mood when I walk into the house and there’s a familiar smell. It’s almost a comfort of sort. I think I we all associate smell with so many memories in life!
2. Sculptural vases. I have collected a few of these over time now. They look great with, or without flowers.
3. Candles. This should come as no surprise, to the point where we had to develop our own for Spases! I light a candle or some sort of fragrance every single day to lift my mood before work.
