I founded Spases in 2010, back then it was a blog that housed all my creative thoughts when it came to all things interiors. This has been a hobby of sorts for the past 10 years and I’ve always had this itch to create something. Spases as a store started around a conversation on decorating with mud cloth fabrics, soon realizing how inaccessible they are to find! I loved the story behind mud cloth and it lead to all sorts of research on things African, Minimal and Natural and Spases as a store was born.
The store is a collection of handmade products that incorporates various African cultures, from our Mali mud cloth collection, Baule collection from the Ivory Coast to the beautiful textiles and items from Morocco.
Spases is a real appreciation for our African heritage with a minimal twist. This collection of products is my love for all things natural, minimal and African. Shop the range!
