As much as I absolutely love styling and decorating around our home, it has to be simple and easy. As a working Mom, wife and person in charge of the home, once I’ve decided on decorative items/products or a particular style, I need it to work for as long as possible. I really don’t have the time to change things up frequently because it’s yet another thing to add onto my never ending to do list! Do you relate? Also, I love sitting back and appreciating my hard work and enjoying the space you know? I feel like you HAVE to enjoy your space, I simply cannot be changing things up every two months, who has the time?! I think that it comes back to keeping things simple and classic with your choices.
The same goes for tablescapes at Christmas, if you’re hosting that is. Many people expect me to love accessorising my home at Christmas. You’d be sorely disappointed when you walk into my home! We do a Christmas tree and that’s it! I keep things as simple and easy as possible:-) So when I decided to write this post I naturally had to find the simplest and easiest table scapes to get your Christmas setting looking the part.
Hence the garland! It could be pine, eucalyptus or whatever you can find. I love the idea of a garland along the table, it really just pulls everything together beautifully. It’s also just one single piece! No one has time to be hand making things! 🙂 Simply pair with your prettiest crockery and add a few candles to your table and you’re done! I’m not hosting Christmas this year, so I won’t be posting my table scape (or maybe I should just do my Mother in laws table and post it? hahaha), but let me know if you love an easy solve, or do you love going all out?
