We love Durban

As of late we’ve been trying to be more conscious of time and how we spend it. This year is just moving so fast and I’d like to think that by the end of it, I’ve achieved something.

So this weekend was filled with inspiration in our city. After the success of the Maboneng precinct in Joburg, developers and local architects have come together to start the same urban regeneration in our city. In a nutshell, the ideal would be to live and work in the city, empowering the local economy by encouraging local business. Not forgetting that the ocean is literally a 5 minute walk from the Rivertown precinct. So yesterday we went on a walk hosted by Beset Durban (another interesting concept of exploring our city), and toured the area to find out more on how the development will happen.

We also checked out the market and the newly refurbished Beerhall! If you a patriotic Durbanite, you’ll know how awesome this is going to be!
